Holland Park School

Holland Park School, a coeducational secondary school and sixth form in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, is one of the oldest comprehensive schools in London. On its opening in 1958, it was the showpiece for post-war progressive education, and it has continued to build a prestigious reputation for educational excellence. Its strikingly modern new six-storey school building, designed by Aedas architects, opened in 2012.

In any educational setting, ensuring the safety of pupils and staff is of the utmost importance, and strict fire safety regulations need to be met. Holland Park School employed JELACO to carry out extensive PAT testing across all its portable electronic equipment, alongside service and maintenance of fire extinguishers on site. The professionalism and experience of our engineers helped negate the challenges posed by servicing an occupied site of this size, and they worked efficiently to complete the work without disruption to the day-to-day running of the school.
